It becomes a totally different but worthwile experience to study it! Unfortunately, most Christians are not equiped to study the word. For example, many Christians still believe that the King James Version is the only one that can be trusted. There is reliance on the Spirit but there is also some individual effort (study) that must be applied, especially considering the fact that we are using men's translations of God's Word. Therefore, we must be careful and compare different translations, commentaries, dictionaries, and concordances which have all been created by man. I just started doing it on my own.
