I don't know how anyone listens (as I do) to all of the radio teachers and not come away with the hands thrown up in defeat. It's as if sleeping, eating, working a job, or even going for a walk are all sin if it doesn't involve witnessing, praying, and studying the bible. I have seen many great brothers struggle with depression others just have a breakdown and many good brothers who could have had great impact in church planting burn out. Rest includes. 1. Dependency 2. Trust 3. Submitting 4. Relinquishing 5. Faith in someone outside of ourselves. The great slogan that says "Let go and let God" should really say "Let go and let me"! I feel like I will become sort of lazy and develop the "I'll just let God do it attitude". Shouldn't we as Christians be demonstrating the power of God through our resting in Him? Like being peaceful during a hectic day. How is it we get caught in not resting in Jesus Christ our Lord?
