I feel your heartfelt conviction and desires in this area, from both the white and black sides of the fence. One of my favorite verses is Galatians 3:28: "There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus". (ESV) Does this verse really mean that there is no Jew/Greek, slave/free, male/female? Of course not because there is. But if and when we are in Christ together than Christ should be our only desire...not hanging out where we're comfortable among our own kind. I thank God for his colorful family!!! More needs to be done for unity in the Body. It will take bold people who are called to lead this charge and already I see it happening. May it continue and may God get the glory!!! That point being, blacks fought for equality and inclusion in business, sports, education, and geographical areas, but for some reason we have not brought the same tenacity to FAITH. If we are going to fight for inclusion in such menial things as sports, why not fight hard for the desegregation of our churches. " This was the real point of my comments on your "Be a Catalyst" post - the need for desegregated churches - and I would add, culture at large. Peace. Lionel:

What do we have to lose, especially when taking into consideration the gain? Thanks Jim,
